I just bought this drama, and I decided to bring forward this review I did in November last year.

Re-watching it, this time on DVD, I am beginning to appreciate the brilliance of the screenwriter and the director in bringing out the empathy of the viewers towards the plight of real people who were in love, out of love and hope of finding that love again.
They couldn't have casted better actors than these 2 people. I love the way Son Ye Jin's character Eun Ho developed throughout the story. Subtle, but towards the end, she had to concede to herself that she can't live without Dong Jin.
I could feel her loneliness and deperate albeit futile attempts in looking for another love. It's just not possible, when your heart is still filled with love for another. I ached at how love is left unsaid between the 2 characters.
I wanted to shout so many times : 그냥 사랑해라!!
I am neither a reviewer of dramas, nor have I seen that many dramas. But I declare that this drama is a must for all who is :
1. Looking for love
2. Already in Love
3. Going out of Love
4. Hoping to keep the Love
5. In the Love with the IDEA of Love
We can't PLAN to love someone. It just happens like the magic.
Eun Ho's sister asked her one day: "How do you know that you love someone?"
She replied :"Well, do you want to be hugged by him?"

Hug? Hmm...basic need of a human being. A touch. A warm touch. To know that we are alive. To be thankful that there is warmth(love) in the middle of winter (loneliness). Eun Ho would put her right hand on her right chest, to feel the regular beating of her heart, to affirm that she is still alive and to keep her heart warm.
Perhaps by watching this, we will appreciate the person, with whom we've exchange our vows many many years ago, more - yes, along with all his faults and shortcomings.
Brownies or otherwise.
Watch it. I give it 5 popcorns.
