I can't help but think of this drama at this time of the year. I had resisted watching this drama for the longest time because I thought it was so cheesy, so over-rated etc... But the ajumma at the video shop told me "Watch lah...you must watch...that Bae Yong Joon actor very hensem, one. Sad story. You sure like one.."
Anyway, that was 3 years ago.
I watched.
I cried.

I was conquered by the Winter Sonata Phenomenon.
I had struggled for days without sleep, and armed with a box of Beautex tissues, I completed the whole drama in 3 days.

That was one fine piece of work. AND Bae Yong Joon earned my respect for being the best cheesecake (as Min Hyung) and chololate brownie (as Jun Sang) that winter could ever produce.(Disclaimer: Of course that was before 성시경 came into my life).
Don't you just love the part where he sat in the old house, and started to read the old letters, listened to his own voice trying to confess to YuJin that he loves her.
And I just love his "Yu Jin , ah...."

Sigh....I think I will watch it again today.
Update : 15.11.06 Now watching chapter 12:
Sang Hyuk is starting to get on my nerves. Why can't he just let Yoo Jin go? Why does he have to be so selfish and not see that Yoo Jin is so much in pain? Ah...silly man. Whatever sympathy I have for Sang Hyuk is slowly disappearing.
Min Hyung on the other hand is in such a mess. Gosh...I love this drama. Even though I have watched this 4 times, now, I am still intrigued by the complexity of it, SO KOREAN DRAMA!!
