One Fine Day 어느 멋진 날

Oh dear. Spoiler Ahead:
Another "Autumn in My Heart" kinda story......girl has a brother, got separated from him , grew up in an adopted family with an adopted brother, and then, ran away from family because adopted brother is a molesting jerk and found real brother, only to find out that he too, is not a real brother, and then, found out that the jerk of an adopted brother is ACTUALLY her real brother........anyway....too many brothers for my taste.

Lousy soundtrack, and Gong Yoo's scary hairstyle and angry outbursts during the first few episodes, contributed to the drama's failure to induce me to rewatch it , unlike my passionate love and undying repeated viewing of Spring Waltz. The Spring Waltz soundtrack is on repeat mode in my car (Kyung oppa is taking a well deserved rest from Mr Parks' stereo).

But , if it's not for Gong Yoo, I'd probably not watch this drama in the first place. I don't know who 성유리 is, never heard of 남궁민. And I only know about 이연희 from Millionaire - She's so pretty.

Ironically, for me, the drama was saved by the character played by 남궁민. Apart from looking a bit like 이동겅, and having a nice, deep, 섹시 voice, his deep, dark chocolate brownie at the bottom and soft creamy cheesecake on top, makes him delightful to watch. I absolutely love his character. This is the first time that a Korean drama has created a MAN out of a mixture of brownie and cheesecake. I did not cry watching this drama. But tears welled in my eyes seeing how 남궁민 cried when his heart was broken. Ouch....Note to self : "Look out for his other dramas/movies"

According to his character , Letting yourself accept love is like buying a life insurance policy. Because love , like insurance, will be there for you when you are healthy, sick, happy, sad. There's always something /someone to depend on. So, have you bought your insurance yet?
