If it wasn't for this newcomer, I would probably have fallen asleep much earlier.
At first, he was, unassuming, seemingly plain and bland.
And then, as the drama progressed, his character started to unfold, and Lo and Behold.....this guy can act. Too bad I have not seen him before in any dramas/movies. But I am certainly looking forward to more screen exposures.
강지환 - Frankly , I don't know what the rave about him was all about. He was ok, so-so, and it's too bad that his character was not one that allowed him to develop and WOW us.

김하늘 - Ah....what can I say about her? Wasted again in this drama. Her character reminded me so much of the character in Stained Glass. Tsk Tsk. What a waste of talent.
Anyway, so, there I was, on another (ad)venture. Not knowing if I was watching a tragedy or not, and refused to check Soompi. But I should have done that or I would not have wasted my money on this drama.
But for all it was worth, the first 5 episodes were enjoyable. And then, it plummeted so badly that the Fast Forward button on my remote was abused badly as well.

The gist:
Girl (김하늘) and Boy (강지환) met on Jeju Island. They were in Love and later, found out that they were (!) cousins. Boy's dad's a jerk (OMG I hate this guy- he's such a JERK).
Anyway, Boy left for Seoul, met girl again after 2 years. Fell In Love all over again, wanted to run away to America (I dun get it...why do they always think that they can lead a better life in another country?).
On the day of the rendezvous, Boy's dad practically threw himself in front of a truck after Boy refused to marry Rich-Girl-whose-dad-could-save-the-family's-failing-biz. Boy felt guilty, needed to help family, lied to Girl that he did not love her. And left.Girl was distraught, met DaeHun (윤희석) by chance, settled down with him.
Fast Forward 9 years later......... well, you watch it lah. Not gonna tell you. Watch it for 윤희석's Chocolate-coated Cheesecake (with a huge side topping of soft cream) character. He may seem like a softy with a heart. But I saw a man hurting so much, even as he tried to be strong and 차마.
I was so thankful that it's just 16 episodes long. I can fully understand why this Autumn drama was not extended. In fact, with the cheesy-Ghost-Whisperer-ending, one can't help but grimace and hope that the 90-days will feel like 90 seconds.
Anyway, I dun like adulterous-love-affair-themed kinda dramas/movies. Period.
